Acid reflux!!? |
Are there any over the counter pills or surgical ways to help acid reflux? Yes. There are actually lots of them. You definitely have to try out pills before going to surgical procedures since most of them are irrevertable. Start with simple ones like tums and if they don't help try PPIs (you can get Prilosec 14 days course in any store). Also I would try to switch to non-acid diet and see if it helps. Check out my site ("food acidity list" section) for acidity of certain foods and try not to eat acid ones. Examples are oranges, tomatoes, etc. Also it does help to cut off on chocolate. Also find good doctor who knows how to treat heartburn - not its symptoms - good doctor makes a big difference. Prilosec http://www.mercola.com/2003/mar/26/paste... |
