I'm a acid reflux sufferer plus i just had a breast reduction im in pain can some one help? |
well i Just had surgery (a breast reduction) I'm already a acid reflux sufferer but ever since my surgery my acid reflux has been acting up a lot more and on top of that I've been very gassy i know the difference when I'm suffering from the gas and when it's acid reflux does any one have any home remedies for my acid reflux or why has it gotten so much worse after my surgery im dying for some help. I take Zantac 150mg 2 times aday for acid reflux, and I know exactly what that pain is. When I run out of my Zantac I am up alnight throwing up stomach acid. The only homemade remedy I know of that you can use to help is baking soda and water ( a half of a teaspoon to a half of a cup of water, not to exceed 7 times in a 24 hour period or 3 if you are over 60. Dissolve completly in water and measure accurately).USES:Heartburn,Acid Indigestion,Sour Stomach,Upset stomach to to these symptoms. Baking soda can be used for different things. The instructions are on the side of the box. Also peppermint candy helps soothe heartburn thats what I use when I am out of meds when I have some around. Your doctor should be able to write you a prescription for the generic form of Zantac it is only $10.00 for 60 of those if you have to take them 2 times a day. Where the Zantac is $150.00 if it is not allowed to be sustituted for the generic. As far as the gassy feeling I would get some gas-x it works great and it isn't expensive, if you have a local Dollar General store they sell them there for $1.50 for a box, also if you have to wait on a prescription for your reflux they also sell that Rantidine 75mg at the Dolllar General store and you just take 2 of them instead of 1. I have bought them there a manyu of times when I run out of my prescription. Your surgery would have caused your reflux to flare more for a time the doctors should have warned you of this. I have arthritis in my breastbone and ribs where they meet caused from my reflux, where it is so severe. Good luck, best wishes. You are very welcome I hope you found this info useful. And that you are feeling much better. Best wishes.Gladys C. Report It Get some Maalox. It provides instant relief. You also need to get on a proton pump inhibitor such as Protonix or Prevacid. Call your doctor and ask for a prescription. There is no need to suffer. I have a prescription for acid reflux called "Ranitidine". You physician should be able to prescribe something for your pain and discomfort. Am sure he charges you enough to take care of that small act of kindness. try any medication lie renetidin with domperidone, twice a day yes |
