Achilles tendon injury...how do i treat? |
Achilles tendon injury...how do i treat? avoid using the area, alternate using ice packs and heat for no longer than twenty minutes at a time and taking ibuprofen for pain relief. Be careful when applying heat as to not burn your skin. well you need to be more specific as to what is your injury, did you strain it or what? most important is that you are going to have to rest it, you use your tendon to walk so you need to rest it as much as possible. i know people dont like using crutches but you might want to consider them for a while. that type of injury will take some time to heal. |
