Best home remedies for unusual Plantar Fasciitis?

I went to a clinic recently for pain in the balls of my feet--specifically right where the joint for the big toe juts out on the instep--and was told that the pain was a result of plantar fasciitis. I'm looking for some way to relieve the pain.... The NSAIDs I've been given for other injuries (Ibuprofen, Mobic) haven't helped much, nor does icing the area. Staying off my feet is impossible because of my job. Everything I've looked up online addresses plantar fasciitis as heel pain and offers remedies like stretching your calves and achilles tendons, but mine is different, focusing -only- on the inner balls of my feet. What can I do to help the pain?

the best way is to get a night brace from an orthepedist. the first night I wore the brace i had relief the next morning. It stretches your toes up and the middle of your foot.
I guess stretching by pushing your toes back will help a bit, I found that soaking in a hot tub did also.
That is one of the most painful things that I've ever had, at times I could barely walk without wincing in pain.
Good Luck to you.

Mine was in my heel, I got a donut at the drugstore. It's a round piece that goes in your shoe so the pressure won't be right in that spot. I don't know if it would work in the area your talking about but they should have something similar. Hope this helps. It's a painful thing to deal with. Mine started on my daughter's field trip to Washington DC a few years ago, I was miserable until I got home. Good luck.

I had it too. I got some really good insoles that helped a lot. I do not work for them but try www.yoursole.com It cost about 拢35 and worked for me..

Since this particular joint is a saddle joint, you may want to consider moving it in an up and down motion. Having inflammation in that area will bring calcium crystals in a hurry, just to attempt to immobilize the joint. The other factor to be considered is the sessamoid bones. Located on the under side of the large joint. There are 2 small bones there which often get very sore when walking accomplishes a rotory motion on that area. Is from the constant irritation of that rotation, which keeps the area sore and painful. This can be determined if you look at the soles of you shoe and see if there are circular patterns there.

Don't quite understand why someone would make a diagnosis of fascitis, when there are so many routine problems with that area of the foot. Perhaps a visit to a doctor of Chiropractic could uncover the problem and treat the structural distress. Consider, the foot is the most abused part of the body and receives the least amount of care. Many structural problems are the result.

To answer your question directly, one must determine the actual causation of the problem and treat it accordingly. Meds will reduce the pain but, have no corrective capability for treating the cause.
