Removing a tooth that is absessed?

I have a tooth that is abscessed. I can't afford a root canal so it has to be pulled. I have been on antibiotics but it is still sore. The dentists office told me to still come in. Should I just call them in the morning and cancel my appointment since I don't think he will be able to pull it yet and I am really afraid to let him even try.

If the tooth is still severely abscessed, you won't be able to get completely numb. You may need another round of antibiotics before having the tooth extracted.

Don't cancel your appointment.. let them take another xray to see the size of the abscess, and possibly give you another prescription for more antibiotics... the second round should do it, and then you'll be able to have the tooth taken out.

It will only keep getting abscessed. Get it pulled you'll feel a whole lot better.

don't worry.the antibiotics wud've taken care of the infection.the dentist'll give u a shot n u won't have any pain.pls don't cancel ur appointment coz the only way u'll get relief will be once the tooth is out.
