Will they still pull my tooth?

I am getting my wisdoms pulled in 2 days, and an abscessed molar. The molar hurts EXTREMELY bad, very badly infected. Will they still pull it, even though there is an infection present? I've heard some ppl say that you have to wait til it clears??? Also, what can I do for the pain until I get it pulled?

The Dentist will most likely put you on anti-biotics for 5 days. However if the pain is that bad, then it is best to have it out asap. For the pain just take paracetamol Hope it all goes well for you.

depending on the abcess, but i think they will pull it out along with your wisdom teeth, just take some paracetamol umm im not sure what medication you have where you are, try not to take anything with asprin it it.

YOU NEED TO CALL THEM NOW AND TELL THEM, THEY CAN GET YOU SOME ANTIBIOTICS AND YOU MAY STILL BE ABLE TO MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT. THE TOOTH HURTS BECAUSE OF THE INFECTION AND THE ONLY WAY IT WILL GET BETTER IS WITH MEDICATION. ALSO YOU ARE RIGHT THEY MAY NOT WORK ON YOU WITH IT, SO CALL, SAVE TIME AND MONEY NOW.

you need to call your dentist Today. tell them about your pain. they normally get you right in and give you anti-biotics and pain meds.

If it is that badly infected then you should be taking an antibiotic for that. I can't imagine them pulling an abscessed tooth. The abscess could burst causing the infection to spread.

They won't pull it if it has a lot of infection or is abcessed. Didn't your dentist give you any antibiotics to take to clear up the infection? Didn't he prescribe anything for pain? Call the dentist tell him what you told us. Ask him to give you something for the pain. If not take some over the counter Extra Strength Tylenol night time or something like it.
