Anyone know about Hep C and cancer?

I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C a couple of years ago. I'm a veteran and it looks like I picked it up during the Viet Nam Era. I went thru a year of interferon/ribovin and then found out I had stomach cancer at the very early stage. Could this have anything to do with the Hep C? Then after 10 cancer procedures, the Hep C returned and I went thru another round interferon/ribovin. Except this time I was on daily injections instead of weekly ones. I ended up in a hospital in a catatonic state and was forced off after 10 months. Since then I have had an abscess infection in my colon removed and have undergone 2 meatology stenosis operations. I also found out 2 of my spinal disks, L2 & L3, have fractured. The cartilidge in my knee fractured and was scoped. I have had ossification in my wrist, foot and elbow. Are these things all inter-related, or just a 'string of bad luck'? Looks like I'll be heading for round 3 of interferon/ribovin next month. None of my doctors seem to know for sure
