Wants the antibiotics for abscesses in the groin?

Wants the antibiotics for abscesses in the groin?

Only a doctor can determine the specific organism causing the abscesses and only a doctor can prescribe the appropriate antibiotic. See a doctor. It might be easier for you if next time you have a health issue, you go to a Yahoo! Answers site in your own country.

you may have FOLLICULITIS, (inflammation/infection of the hair follicles) or HYDRADENTITIS SUPPERITIVA (inflammation/infection of the sweat glands).

See your GP. The latter condition is often misdiagnosed, and you would need to be referred to a dermatologist, for a correct diagnosis.

Both conditions are treated with oral antibiotics (often long-term) such as ERYTHROMYCIN, TETRACYCLINE or TETRALYSIL.

First, you would need to be evaluated by a medical professional. There could be a number of causes for this. Each germ ( capable of causing an infection ) responds differently to specific antibiotics. Any fever, chills or sweats ?? Redness, swelling ?? I ask because these symptoms can indicate an infection. So, contact your Doc, SOON.
