Why would a fit and healthy 18 year old boy keep getting recurrent mouth and facial abscesses? Because the infection is not completely going away!!! if he did not finish ALL of the antibiotics that the Doctor gave him then he has just created a new resistant strain of infection. (Congrats) Now he has to find a new antibiotic to get rid of the infection. He's probably sucking willy to much It sounds as if he is allergic to something. I know a baby who used to get absesses all over their legs ecetera for wearing cloth nappies. It sounds as if its maybe something hes eating or something he's washing his hair with, or type of towel used, allergy to soap, or type of toothpaste. Or pet? Is he always near a certain pet? what a bout herpes? well this would depend on what he eats and does. he shouldnt be making out with random girls cause they might have stds. also, eating oily foods in excess creates acne so this might be a form of it.
