There is are antibiotic ointments from your doctor that will cure abscess around the groin and rectal area if they do not reach the point of needing lancing. Oral antibiotics will also cure them.
My husband was getting abscesses in his groin area from working and sweating all day in jeans while not wearing cotton underwear. When he began wearing underwear, the abscesses went away. But he had to use ointment on the ones that existed.
I looked on line, and could not find any preventions for abscess.

get a cream frm ur doctor =]

Baby powder. You need to keep the areas dry!!

try some skin lotion very affective if that doesnt work use a little baby or talcom powder

Sound very nasty, you should talk to your doctor about this and find out what exactly is causing the flare ups. It is not natural.

I don't have a cure for you, but ask your pharmacist for a suitable dilution of Hydrogen-Peroxide to clean them especially if they are open. Perhaps you are lacking something in your system and this may very well do the trick:
Veriuni Advanced Antioxidant with Red Wine Extract
- an Advanced Antioxidant with Red Wine Extract helps safeguard your immune system, retard the aging process, and protect your health. Research has shown antioxidants also support heart health and eye health - both important to older adults. One dose delivers 500 mg of Vitamin C, 400 IU of Vitamin E, and 30 mg of red wine extract!

and PLEASE don't forget to add pro-bio tics to your diet - they are good bacteria which help to prevent diseases.

Most importantly--KEEP YOURSELF CLEAN!! If you choose to use powder, you might use an anti-fungal powder or medicated powder of some type. When you use powder, be sure to wipe off excess powder from your skin and put it on only after your skin is good and dry. Otherwise, the powder will ball up on your skin and cause even more problems than it will solve. If you are prone to abcesses, I would also suggest you see a Dr if you haven't already. I would suggest a dermatologist (skin Dr). They could run some tests and determine why you are so prone.

Sounds like you could suffer from hidradenitis suppurativa. It's nothing serious, just more annoying than painful.

Unfortunately is one of those things you can't cure but you can manage, check it with your doctor.

see your doctor. You may have FOLLICULITIS (Infection of the hair follicle) or HYDRADENTITIS SUPPERITIVA (Infection of sweat glands). Both can be treated with LONG-TERM antibiotics, though HS is quite difficult to treat-several different antibiotics may have to be tried.

You need PROBIOTICS. Please do some research on Candida/Yeast overgrowth. In your case, antibiotics could do more harm than good.
