Any one work at Plan ParentHood?

What do you feel about performing abortions, is there any guilt to it?

I don't work at Planned Parenthood, but I've taken some women classes that talks about abortion and I've known a few people that has had one. I think many people who work there just do it because they need the money or because they want to help women who don't want babies. It's really sad if a women can't have an abortion, but really wants one. She'll even try to do it herself and harm herself in the doing. There are a lot of people out there who really care and help with these procedures.

When I went to planned parenthood, it was to educate me and my partner about how pregnancies form and the most effective birth control available.

Their services include sexual education counseling and ways to avoid pregnancies, so they do not do abortions exclusively.

You would be surprised the population of people who believe a douche is to stop a pregnancy when it cannot.

As far as abortions... No, they don't feel guilt about it, its more like a conveyor belt of people going through a system that is out of control.

Its as though people forgot when having sex with each other, the responsibility they must carry.

Thus, you have this crock of horse pucky taking place when Europe has had the day after pill for over 25 years when the egg was still an egg.

My point of view about abortion? It sucks that our country is so backwards in making it risky in permanant damage when all we have to do is educate our children openly about sex to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Relgion hasn't done a good job so far because most of the people getting pregnant are the ones who have no information about it, regardless of their religious restrictions.

I volunteer in the Health Clinic at my local Planned Parenthood (specifically, in the procedure room where the abortions are performed). Though I obviously don't perform abortions (I'm not a doctor), I have been present for hundreds of procedures and it has never bothered me. Morally, I don't think that there is anything wrong with abortion. That said, I would never want to have one because they are usually painful.
