Till last mth I finally started I think cuz ive gained weight Friday I went to the Dr. he said it was not normal. And sent me to get my blood drawn... What do they look for in it and what could it be could it be caused by abortions, I'm 35yrs old and had no reason going to the Dr. before cause I was'nt having sex, "At all" well now I've been thinking I better start before I lose what I got., Just kind of scared to hear what is finally going on with me after all these yrs. Any Ideas.

It is not normal to go nine years without a period, period! A medical abortion done under the usual sterile conditions would have little chance of having anything to do with this. That's propaganda from antichoice idiots.

A woman has a "reason to to go to the doctor" whether she is having sex or not. The annual gyn exam is the best way to prevent dying from cervical cancer and the best way to prevent minor conditions from becoming serious.

If you have been severely underweight for all those years, this could explain the amenorrhea, but whatever the cause, you are way overdue to see a doctor. Tell them from the start that fear of what they might say has kept you away. And remember that your fear might actually cause you to be told something bad due to neglect.

Make an appointment right away. You're going to worry about this whether you do or not, so why not minimize the stress by just going ahead and getting back on track.

I don't quite understand your question. 9 years since you've started what? ..and any ideas about what, why you've gained weight?? ..are you asking if you may have gained weight because you've had abortions in the past??
