Can I get pregnant after 3 d&C?

Hi all,
I was 12 weeks pregnant and this was my third pregnancy. My husband and I have been married for 11 years and I had 1 abortions and 1 miscarriage before. I wanted to keep this baby, untill at around week 8 I went into deep depression so much so that my doctor suggested my husband to keep an eye on me, and prescribed me with strong antidepressants. I didnt want to take the pills, because I read that it will affect the baby.
Anyway, I am planning another pregnancy and this time I am being monitored by my doc. for depression from early on. my concerns is that is it possible to even have a healthy pregnancy after 3 D&Cs?

Yes, D&C's aren't the problem unless there were complications. If there was any uterine and/or systemic condition that necessitated D&Cs, that may affect your pregancy if still present. Otherwise, there shouldn't be any problem conceiving.

To carry the pregnancy to term, and the precautions needed, would need closer examination of the causes of your earlier obstetric history.

Yes, absolutely possible. I had miscarried three times and had an ectopic pregnancy inwhich I chose to abort at 13 weeks as I was in too much pain and bleeding all of the time. In between all of that, I had a successful pregnancy and I'm very proud of my now 14 year old son......Best of luck to you.
