Is my mom gonna die?

She has been addicted to crack since she was 14 and she is now 37 and she has never been on the cack as much as she is right now. I dont live with her I live with my grandparents. She is pregnant and she told her ex boyfriend this morning that she has had 20 abortions and she said that if he didnt take her back she is just gonna abort this one too. Is she gonna die tho?? I really dont want her to. I am only 12 years old and you have no idea what I have been through. When I was little my mom would take me to the crack houses with her and I thank God that I didnt get hurt. These ppl that she hangs around with are just like the people that you see on tv. Me and my grandparents are afraid she is killing herself and we are worried that someone that she hangs out with is gonna kill her. please help and tell me what to do I have no idea how to tell her that she needs help. Im so messed up that everyone is saying I need counceling. Help me please!!

You can't solve everyone's problems. You can only suggest that she join Narc Anon and get help. You have to deal with your own life, you can't save her from herself. She has to do that.

i feel soooo incredibly sorry for you.but all i can say is there is a chance she could die.but not just of the drugs,if these people she hangs with.i hope that she's ok,and that someday she will get off crack and that she will not have any more abortions bcuz abortion is so horrible and cruel.

your mother needs to go to rehab, if she is ready to get clean and change her life they can help her come off the drugs and deal with the side effects. as for weather or not she is going to die, no one can really tell you yes or no, she could die from the drugs or from the people shes with as you said, or she could live and keep living that way no one can say for sure.
I agree with the counseling idea, counseling will give you someone to talk to, you can tell them what you are going through and they can help you come to terms with your mothers decisions. it doesn't seem to me that your mother has any desire to get off the drugs, and until she does, it will be hard for you or anyone else to help her. I think the best advice I can give is for you to learn from your mothers mistakes, and don't repeat them when you are older. Choose a better life for yourself and your children you may someday have!

i dont know what to tell you but i feel so sorry for you. the best thing is to let it be. shes bringing it on herself. it is her choice to kill herself. theres nothing you cant do but to incourage her that she is dong the wrong thing. good luck

I no this isnt what u want to hear, but if u feel tht counselling might help take sum of the weight off your shoulders, it mite b worth a try! But the only thing you can really do is pray for her. Commit her life and situation into God's all-powerful hands. If he cannot help her, who can? This is a promise to you; God cn work in her life and heal her completely. Come to God, ask Him to be a comfort to you. He has promised that He will be a comfort to believers who ask for it. Trust that he can ave your Mum, and ask Him to help you deal with it.
I met someone who was in an equally terrible situation and is now completely healed and forgiven! Hallelujah! He was a homosexual, had sexual encounters everyday, one of th biggest drug dealers in America, and took them in mad excess himself. When he was caught after bout two decades, going to prison was like going to heaven, because he had beforehand been basically never able to think straight because he was always on drugs. He picked up AIDS. God worked in his life in amazing ways, and now he travels to different parts of the world telling others about this amazing forgiveness God gave him for free.... just for trusting that he could do it.
