Medical people..........how do you feel........?

Medical folks, doctors, nurses, techs........if you perform abortions, what do you feel when you do this procedure? It would be interesting to hear your thinking on this issue?

I am a nurse in a drs office. I do not help perform abortions nor do we do them in our office, but occasionally we have women asking for referrals to abort their baby. I do not give out info or numbers, I dont discuss it with them at all. My dr knows that I want no association with it. I feel that if i do anything to assist in any part of the process, I would be just as guilty as the people who do the actual abortion...........

am a medical student, I think no much feelings are involved....there are rules that must be followed and criteria that needs to be fulfilled and many things need to be taken into account like the motheer's wishes, her circumstances, gestational age (must be less than 24 weeks), if there are any deformities or abnormalities. i've seen it being done, its no difference from any other procedure, but you need to be more empathetic with the patient etc

I support Pregnancy Crises Centers. Women in need have to have somewhere to go where they are cared about and respected.
