Do anti-abortionists think oral contraceptives are wrong? |
Hi I was wondering about whether anti-abortionists think BCPS )brith control pills) are wrong? Aren't BCPS effectively silent abortions? If a woman is on BCPS for ten years, in a way, haven't many lives and souls been denied life? Some do, some don't. I do not use them because they can prevent implantation, and in my opinion, a baby is formed once the egg is fertilized and the cells begin splitting, not when in implants. Some do for example the Catholic church. Really extreme ones do because oral contraceptives can stop a fertilized egg from implanting. I would think more reasonable people who want to reduce or prevent abortions would consider them abortion prevention. I would never have an abortion, but have used both birth control pills and morning after pills because even though they prevent implantation, this to me is not the same thing as aborting a fetus who already has a beating heart and human organ structures. im not sure cause im not one but i wouldnt think so...i mean theres not even a baby in there yet so its not technically murder but when ur pregnant u actually have a life in u so ur killing a human Birth controlpills are not the same as an abortion. BCP prevent you from getting pregnant, an abortion ends a life. NO, oral contraceptives are the SMART thing if you don't want to get pregnant. Some of them are. I am VERY anti-abortion and I use birth control pills when I'm not trying to have a child. Birth control pills are used to prevent ovulation....if you dont ovulate you dont get pregnant. |
