A friend of mine only 19 noticed a lump inside her vagina?

this she says she noticed after 2 abortions she's scared its cancer, but she says it disappears after a while .but its painful if its there. she hopes it i'll go cos she has taken drugs.

Very foolish not to go to Dr. It is probably a minor problem but could turn into something more serious by procrastinating and hoping it will go away. Insist she go to Dr. Tell her family is you must.

You say she's taken drugs so I assume she's been to a doctor. The fact that it goes away indicates its probably not cancer. It may just be a gland that swells up. If she hasn't seen a doctor already though she should.

This is something that she must have examined. A doctor will not pre-judge her previous sexual activity.

It sounds to me like an STD. It could be either vaginal warts, which can cause infertility, but then so can the abortions, and the other thing it could be is Herpes, they cause a very painful blister to come up, and they hurt really really bad. It's painful to walk, sit, and urinate. Girlfriend needs to go to the doctor to see what it is. If it's vaginal warts, I don't think those go away, but they would have to surgically remove them. And there is medication to keep Herpes breakouts, but she needs to stop having intercourse until she gets fully tested for all STDs. And probably should use a condom from now on.

shes only 19 an had 2 abortions... wow! anyways its most likely a cyst or scar tissue damage from the abortions. though the best thing to do is see a specialist! good luck, and hope its nothing to serious
