Abortion??

A fetus in the beginning stages DO NOT LOOK LIKE THAT and would NOT HAVE IT'S LIMBS CUT if it even did look like that! They do that to women who have LATE TERM MISCARRIAGES to get it all out...The later ones are of second and third term babies and those pictures aren't of abortions because those are ILLEGAL, again those are miscarriages. It makes me mad because ONE those are sooo badly photoshopped just for manipulation and in turn makes pro lifers who show these pictures look ignorant and HINDERS their cause. Two my sister miscarried later on and it hurts that they use miscarried babies. WHY NOT TELL THE TRUTH??? WHY NOT say that psychological repercussions and show REAL pictures instead of these fake ones? I am premed and I have SEEN human fetus's AT EVERY MONTH INTREVAL(donated and the later ones were miscarriages since second and third trimester abortions are illegal).

I personally would NEVER have an abortion but I'm sick of the lies and disgusting manipulation. You all look IGNORANT AND MANIPULATiVE and it hurts YOUR CAUSE. A lot of people who know you use these fake pics don't listen to you because you look like manipulative wackos. Stop the lies and reach out to more people.

Why do they lie? It's because they're dealing in emotion and religion, not fact. They're dealing in control of other people.

Pregant, scared women are very vulnerable. No one ends a pregnancy casually. Prolife activists, the kind who kill doctors and bomb health clinics, latch onto those fragile women like a bucket of leeches. They'll do anything to control other people, especially the ones with greatest need of help - anything, except take the child in or provide support for it.

They are worse than parasites. Even a tapeworm just takes what it needs for itself, and doesn't try to control the whole world around it. Even the term "pro-life" implies that everyone else is "anti-life."

I know pro-choicers who were against abortion for themselves, and had a baby under trying circumstances. They're not "pro-lifers." They're pro-choice, and their choice was to carry to term. They still want others to be able to choose, even if others dont' make the choice they did.

That's the difference. It's not about life, it's about control.

I agree with the 1st answer. Alot of those people are fanatics and prey on the emotions of scared women. However, I think abortion is understandalbe in cases of rape, incest and for underage girls incable of caring for a child (and that shouldn't have been having sex in the first place). Abortion is NOT a form of birth control in my opinoin.

It's the same with fake abortion clinics. They lure pregnant and scared women in and bombard them with pro-life propagande and usually religious hogwash too.

Childbirth looks even more disturbing yet people don't get their panties in a twist about that. Using pictures to prove a point is a very poor technique in trying to win people to your cause.

i have a REAL pic of an early abortion. it looks NOTHING like the ones anti-choicers try to pass off. it is a fact that in the first trimester, the fetus doesn't start looking human until 12 weeks. fetal parts wouldn't be seen until 12-14 weeks. early abortions liquify the fetus because of it's gellatin-like body.

and to the person who claims they're real pics, you're either gullible or a liar.

i agree, it makes me angry that so many people are forcing the idea that abortion is a crime onto people.

many young women who got pregnant but lack the ability to provide the baby with a decent living environment would not do abortion, because others keep telling them it is killing the baby. and whats the result? is the mother happy? will the baby be happy?

1. VERY few of the pictures you see of abortions are faked. I'm sorry it upsets you.

2. Abstinence works 100% of the time ... But when people CHOOSE not to abstain from premarital and extramarital sex, then OTHER choices have to be made - the most unfortunate of which is abortion.

3. NO ONE in the "pro life" camp is suggesting for a moment that a young teenage girl raises a child on her own. Practically ALL of them however, suggest that incalcuable good can come of a bad situation when the right decisions are reached - namely: ADOPTION.

4. Adoption provides loving homes to otherwise unwanted children. Every year, THOUSANDS of infertile and/or childless couples yearn to have thier families enriched and completed by welcoming an adopted child into their homes.

5. Adoption is the LEAST selfish choice that can be made from an unexpected or unwanted pregnancy. Abortion is the MOST selfish choice that can be made.

6. Exceptions to the above rules: rape, incest, valid (not imagined or potential) health dangers to the mother or child.

Search your heart and you'll know the above to be true and right.
