Abortion pill...cost??

If you were planning on having an abortion, under 9 weeeks you can take the pill method, how much would this cost in the U.k privately?? and also any other forms of abortion privately, maybe up to 15 weeks?? . thanks

Ok doke... I don't know what things are like in the UK, but in Canada it's nothing that will make you worry terribly much. Hell, most people over here spend more on the alcohol which resulted in the pregnancy than on the pill after the fact! LOL

That being said, see a doc and get the facts from those that truly know. With regard to some of the other answers:

1) Don't just go and start taking a whack of pills (ie. take a bunch of BC pills). You're playing with fire. One way or another, having that work is an overdose. The pills were made to do a task. Keep them doing what they are meant to do as they were meant to do so.

Its more like w/i the first 28 days, not 9 weeks. When i went it was $500, that included a pre visit, post visit, and a months' supply of birth control, and 2 doses of plan b. That was in the US. Its called medical abortion, the pill is RU 486. Your other choice is surgical, where they dope you up and clear it out. They do that up to the 3rd trimester.


There arent enough pills in a month's supply of birth control to equal plan B. The chick that said that is a moron.

i havnt ever heard about a pill to take that gives an abortion..the morning after pill is mean t as a preventative measure against unprotected sex..meaning catching the sperm and killing it before it reaches the egg..basically...u have to go to the doctor.
