For abortion? Why?

Abortions will always happen, whether legal or not. If we make abortions illegal, not much will change for middle-class or wealthy women. Their private doctors will perform abortions, calling them something else. Or they'll fly to the Bahamas for the weekend and have an abortion there.

The people who will end up suffering will be the very young or the very poor. Women on welfare who can't afford children yet have no medical coverage will end up having more children they can't afford. And much as people say they could give the children up for adoption, I don't think it would happen very much. I've held two of my own newborns in my arms, and regardless of how poor I was or how much I was a drain on the welfare system, nothing could have taken those children from me at that point.

Young girls will suffer in a different way: many of them will be so scared at the thought of having a baby and having to face their parents that they will turn to illegal, unsanitary abortions. Young women will die because their freedom was taken away.

I am for abortion because a woman should be able to choose what she does with her body. A fetus is not yet a human being, and while it is in the mother's womb and dependent on her, it is her property.
Besides, if we allow the government to control a woman's reproductive rights, what will stop them from controlling sexual activities (more than they already are) and other personal freedoms?

I think it麓s a personal decision and no one should be judged about it, sometimes we have to be inthe other persons place to understand the reasons why they make the choices they make. I麓m not in favor or against it I think it is a situation in which you can麓t judge unless you know.

abortion is wrong. if you don't want a baby then don't have unprotected sex. all your doing when you have an abortion is basically killing an innocent little child who should of had a long life but then it gets taken away from them because the parents made a mistake and they think by having an abortion it will take care of the problem. it may take care of the problem but can a person really live knowing that they killed there own flesh and blood. if a person can live like that then there is something wrong with that person.. ABORTIONS ARE JUST SOO TOTALLY WRONG .

I believe it should be a womans choice.

However I do not think it should be used as a means of birth control.

Also if the father is present he should have some say in the matter after all the woman had help conceiving, if it is just a matter of her not wanting children then have it and sign it over to the father if he is willing.

No matter what the circumstance though it should always be her choice, I would hope she uses good judgement prior to making such a life altering decision.

Thirty years ago we knew little about what was going on inside a womans body. Parents now are bonding with a fuzzy thumb sucker on a black and white ultra sound moniter. It's the first picture in the baby book.
I never agreed with abortion.It's not a choice.Birth control methods have been quite sufficticated and non invasive for decades.
There are reasons for medical intervention in a pregnancy. I myself had toximia deadly for both the baby and me. We lucked out and my baby livedbut it was a case of her or me. My husband chose me to save
If people would stop thinking of sex as recreational there would be no reason for abortion. The stigma of an out of wedlock birth has also deminished. If a baby is not in your plans you need to plan not to have a baby.
The debate is not should abortion be legal but should it be necessary in this day and age.

Margaret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood was a eugenist and advocated abortion to control races and poverty. Planned Parenthood actually gives out falty condoms on purpose. They provide abortion services as an income producer.The fact that and abortion can leave you unable to have another pregnancy does not phase them. Insurance providers require that the products removed during an abortion be set to their lab before payment is made. PP will always tell you your pregnant so they can collect for an abortion whether your pregnant or not. Abortion should be leagal and rare.
Abortion is not birth control. Birth control happens before sex not after.

So you don't want to hear from the rest of the spectrum. Read up on post abortion syndrome and the other complications from abortions - be they backalley ones or the legiitmate ones.
Products of conception is another thing to talk about. What a load of rubbish. When the fetus is old enough to abort, then it looks like a small baby (which is what it is.)
