Pregnant with twins, abortion pill??

Ok, my guyfriend is loosing his mind because his ex girlfriend said she was pregnant with twins when she was only about 1 month pregnant.

First question.. Could she really know it was twins that soon?

She wanted an abortion so she got the abortion pill. She CLAIMED that only 1 of them actually got aborted and that one of the twins is still alive INSIDE her!

Is this even medically POSSIBLE? Or is she just a crazy sick liar?

If it IS possible.. Will the baby be ok? the abortion pill drug killed the twin that it shared the womb with.. doesn't that mean the little fetus the supposedly survived got a heavy dose of a drug that was ment to kill it so now it will be deformed and have god knows what other problems?

It IS possible to tell how many fetuses are carried if an ultrasound is done -- provided they're fraternal twins (I had one done at 7 weeks pregnant to figure out why I was so sick...come to find out it was twins...the doctor was looking for cancer!).

As for aborting one, yes it can happen. I lost one twin (spontaneously) at 4 1/2 months, but the other survived the miscarriage and I carried him to term...he's now 15 years old.

The abortion pill is another story however. You are right in your assumption that there may be something wrong with the second fetus. It may be still-born at term (or before), or it may be born with defects.

Finally, there is a HUGE chance that the bimbo is just lying for attention or revenge. Everyone will know one way or another in a few more months, though.

a month is about 4 weeks right? you cant tell until you're about 6-8 weeks....and the abortion pill "works" regardless...the gestational age cant be more than 6 weeks to get the abortion pill...so if she did get the abortion pill she must have been less than 6 weeks...which is too early to tell if you're having twins or not...and two weeks after you get an abortion you have to go back for your
follow to make sure there are no remains since that could cause an infection...IF ANYTHING DID REMAIN INSIDE OF HER IT WOULD NOT BE A BABY...ONLY TISSUE!

bottom line...she's lying...maybe she was pregnant and maybe she did have an abortion...but those weird lies of hers are just that LIES!

THOUGH IT IS POSSIBLE TO MISCARRY ONE BABY WHILE YOU'RE HAVING TWINS, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ABORT ONLY ONE!

You cannot tell if you are having twins until you have a scan which would show from about 3 months onwards. she f-ing mad give her a slap

okay, my advice is this... since i've never heard a story like that i'd say the girl is lying and trying either 1 to get him back or 2 trying to make his life problematic to put it nicely. i dont know of any ultrasound machine that would pick up that early showing twins plus most women dont find out until about a month or 6 weeks into their prgnancy that they are pregnant. i don't know enough about the abortion pill (as i don't believe in abortion) to say anything about it so sorry i can't help you there. but if you'd like to know the truth try this

you or your friend tell her one of you wants to take her to her next doctors appointment or insist on scheduling one. either way by her reaction, you aught to be able to tell if she's for real or lying.

At 1 month gestation, she would only have had a fetal sac and there would not have been any inidication of it being twins...that takes at least 8-12 weeks for twins to separate completely into their own amniotic sac.

JMHO, she doesn't deserve the baby there now because she wanted to abort it. If it is deformed, that will be her own doing and no one else's, she made the choice to take the pill.

first off, if she was only 4 weeks, she would not know unless she got a transvaginal ultrasound. second, if she took RU-486 then there would be no pregnancy left over, cuz the pill kills the fetus OR feoti anyways, so if only one came out then she would have gotten an infection from an incomplete miscarriage. it's quite obvious this woman is lying and has been lying the whole time. he shouldn't be concerned about it. he should just ignore her.
