Period after abortion?

I recently had an abortion due to health issues.

I was only 2 weeks pregnant so only had to consumre one tablet and then return to have tablets inserted into the vagina using a tampon.

I bled very heavily after, this is normal. However, i missed one period, which I have been told this is also normal. It is time for my next period in 3 weeks), I have had no pain, my skin has gone bad as though I am due on and my dicharge is like the begining/end of a period (dark brown/red dirt colour) so i inserted a tampon and took my 1st contreseptive pill (this was all yesterday afternoon), now there is no blood and it's about 30 hrs after takin my pill.

Have I stopped bleeding already because of the pill (it's called Microgynon) or was the blood just excess from the abortion (almost 6 weeks ago) Do I need to stop takin my pill and wait for a 'normal' period?

Just keep up with what the doctors are saying and ignore the people who are critisizing you for having an abortion. I hate how some people don't look at the other side, its insulting and embarrasing that our world is so closed minded. Please know that the abortion was your decision, not theres, I understand that you might feel hurt by their comments, but you have to know their lack of knowleage.

Continue the pill. Things can be a bit erratic after a pregnancy ends. See how things pan out...if you stop microgynon you may have more troublesome bleeding.

wow i hate to hear that you killed a baby before they even had a chance.. they could have discoverd the cure for cancer or been the first person to go to mars. even if it was health issues dont you think that god would see that you gave this baby a chance and and he would help you..
