I'm 275 lbs. w/ joint pain and gait abnormalaties. should I walk in water or cycle? Can you give me an examples of exercises I should do? If you are wanting to lose wight, exercise is fine. water is better as there will be less stress on your joints. A variety of stretching and strenghtening things are best. I love running in water! Good endurance exercise Both!!! I've always been a fan of anything to do with water. You can get such a good workout and it's not that hard on the body. Join a water workout class at a gym. both are great!....water aerobics...dont just stick with one workout..you'll get bored...make a variety.... I have similar problems as I have a dislocated left hip and spinal arthritis. My doctors both orthopedic and general medical all want me to swim or do go to the YMCA and do my exercises in the pool. Less stress on my joints and more resistance with out the pain. Cycling works if you're using a stationary bike, Because than you can focus on riding and not have to worry about using your muscles to stay one the bike. I find that water sports and exercises work best for me. One thing that will help you lose weight: a colon cleanse. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few until I found a great one that works (its all natural too! - it's just pills, but you'll detox, lose weight, and fell much, much better). You can go to |
