wbc are related to immunity and there disorders range from infection related like hiv,to malignancy as leukaemia ,while rbc can face hemolysis ,low number and abnormal sizes as anaemia ,high number polycythaemia

Since a red blood cell has no nucleus its function is limited; red blood cells can't even reproduce themselves. Other than issues in oxygen transport, they can't effect much.

White blood cells not only carry a nucleus, and thus have a lot of function, but are an important part of the immune system. If there is an issue with the immune system, the problem is wide spread and obviously you will be quite sick.
