4 months, No period, Negative pregnancy tests? |
I havent a period in almost 4 months. After the 1st month, I went to get a pap smear and it showed abnormalities. 3 months later (today) I went to the doctor and had a pregnancy test done, and it was negative. What could be the problem? Maybe you're too underweight or too stressed? If you don't get it again soon, go see a gyno so she can help you figure out what's going on and she can prescribe you some vitamin pills because without having your period, you're not gaining enough nutrients. well by about 4/5 months you should be 'showing' if you are pregnant. So you will know if u are or if ur not in a few more weeks or so. The best person to contact regarding ur health would probably be a doctor. Did the doctor just have u pee in a cup? or did he take an actual blood test. If you didnt do a blood test, you need to ask ur doctor for one because that will really give u the results. I had a very similar problem, and it turns out my hormones were off balance. (too much testosterone) My doctor put me on the pill (one of the kinds with estrogen) for three months and it came back. Ive had my period for 4 months. I went off the birth control shot and have been bleeding ever since. There could be many different causes to not getting your period. Stress, diet, birth control. If there were abnormalities during your pap it could be the stress in your reproductive system. I have never had a regular period, gone months with it constantly and months without it. I just had an ultrasound done and they said everything is fine and want to put me on the pill to try and regulate my bleeding, maybe that is something you should consider to get you to start bleeding. But if they say nothing is wrong I would just enjoy the time you have without your period cause when it comes back it probably wont be fun! This happened to me also. I went to the doctor and had some blood work done and found out that I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome.) Which is basically a hormonal imbalance and it can be fixed with medication and a clean diet. |
