High body temperature of 101F or 38C for past 2 years?

My cousin is suffering from high body temperature of around 101 Fahrenheit or 38 Celsius (at all times) for past 2 years.

He had been tested for all kinds of pathogen/bacteria/virus infection including body scans/x-rays etc., But still unable to determine the reason for high body temperature. Due to this condition he is always feeling very tired due to high level of metabolism.

1) Are you aware of something like this?
2) Is there a clinical name for this kind of abnormality/condition?
3) Is there a web site where I can find more info on this type of condition?

She is 18 years old.

This soesnt soud that uncommon. How old is he? That can be a huge factor. My daughters temperature used to run 98.3 consistantly when she was not sick. Over the past year her temperature has ran 99.8 when she has been healthy.

If tiredness is his only symptom then I wouldnt worry too much. The body is built to take care of itself. If basic blood tests have came back normal then more than likely his body temperature has just changed. Mine did about teh time I hit puberty.

After a general search, Lupus is a possibility. This is a link to a overview of Lupus. I am not saying that this is the problem , but with the information you have posted this is a possibility. I am sure there are many others.
