I have an odd problem... When I sleep, some of me sleeps longer than the rest... Any ideas??? |
For some reason, when I sleep in any position other than on my back, I loose all feeling in my right arm from shoulder to fingertip. This is not "pins and needles", it's a literal complete deadening of the entire limb. I cannot help but think it's some sort of abnormality, because I've never heard anyone else complain of it. I'm 6'0 when I wake up (everyone know's you're taller in the morning right?), and weigh 150 lbs. BMI is perfect. But not I am forced to sleep on my back with my hands at my sides just to wake feeling whole in the morning. Any ideas? THIS HAPPENS TO ME AND OTHER PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. IT IS LIKE HAVING A DEAD HEAVY PIECE OF YOU, THAT IS NUMB. YOU CAN'T MOVE IT OR HAVE ANY FEELING IN IT. WHAT HAPPENS IT FALLS ASLEEP, A DEEP SLEEP, BECAUSE THE CIRCULATION AND THE NERVES ARE CUT OFF BY PRESSURE, LIKE YOUR HEAD LAYING ON IT. DON'T WORRY, YOU MAY NOT HEAR OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT, BUT IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME TO EVERYONE. You're probably just pressing on a nerve. maybe u sleep in wrong position other than sleepin on ur back. you do not have to sleep with one side for a longer time .you must always turn around to allow the blood to circulate properly.do not take drugs to sleep . my legs used to do that when I was 10 and as this was a long time ago I cannot say exactly but they did an xray and I had a cyst on my spine and they could actually feel it apparently, anyways they went to go remove it but it popped prior and so I didnt need it but it was doing something with my nerves just a thought anyways. I think you are probably experiencing numbness, consult your doctor for professional advice. You might want to see a doctor. Probably a neurologist. It sounds like you might have a pinched nerve in your cervical spine, since it affects your arm. It could be caused by a slipped or herniated disc (disk), and need surgical correction. |
