An Odd Lump? |
While not paying much attention, I was rubbing my hands and found a abnormality. At the base of the right hand's ring finger, there's a odd lump. I've never noticed it before. I guess I forgot to mention I'm one of those uninsured individuals.... It is probably a ganlion cyst (fluid-filled). Any doctor can incise this and let it drain, but it may continue to return. Other than it being uncomfortable, the ganglion cyst doesn't really cause long-term effects. However, you do need to see a doctor regardless to rule out a possible malignancy (unlikely, but be on the safe side). Consult a surgeon. You may not have to worry. could be that it was fractured or broken before or a cyst or so many thing get a Doctor if it worries you so |
