Diagnosis for late pediatric injury to cerebellum?

I was 17 when I overdosed on painkillers and received an injury to my cerebellum and now have a gait abnormality. What would the correct diagnosis be? (I'm assuming it is not cerebral palsy as that is due to injuries received before 3 to 5 yrs old).

I guess that would depend on what kind of injury you had to the cerebellum. For example, if you had low blood pressure during this overdose, that could have caused a cerebellar stroke (cerebellar infarct). Your doctor would know more precisely what happened and what it should be called. You are right that it would not be called cerebral palsy -- that refers to damage that occurs before or just after birth. If you are asking about the name of the gait abnormality, that might be ataxia.
