Can pills and physical therapy really fix tear of medial meniscus? |
MRI Results: Unfortunately, there is no good indication as to who will do well with physical therapy and who will require surgery. The only evidence to support that surgery is perferrable is if the tear is greater than 7mm. We've had 3 different torn meniscus in our family. My daughter had 3 tears on her medial meniscus. Pills do not cure the problem, may help reduce swelling or any inflamation and pain. Surgery and PT will fix your nkee problems. |
