Can what I feel be lupus?

I have been suffer from medical problems for a couple of months now and would like some help.
I am 27 and in June I woke up and had symptoms as if I had a stroke I had an MRI and EEG and both showed an abnormality to the left side of the brain as time goes by my symptoms get worse I have achy joint, muscle pain soreness and weakness, swollen joints, exteme fatigue, pain in chest with deep breaths feels like tearing in my heart, eyes are sensitive to ligt/sun and swollen in the morning to where one eye is hard to open, seizures, nose ulcers, pins and needles feeling, loss of feeling in hands and feet, chills migrains which alot of the time lead to nose bleeds, stomach pain, forgetfulness, memory problems, unable to keep up with conversations, depression, anxiety.
My PCP believes it's lupus I recently had extensive blood work and a urine test am still waiting for results if theres anyone who suffers from lupus please give me your advice.

It could be lupus or a host of other disorders. The blood work may give a clue depending on what tests were ordered.

I have lupus with organ involvement and I work with lupus patients on a regular basis. You could have ms, some of the symptoms are consistent with that. You could have lupus with central nervous system involvement. You could have one of the clotting disorders that often go with lupus-they cause major and minor strokes. You could have polymyositis that is causing muscle soreness. Rheumatoid arthritis can cause joint pain and inflammation.

What you need is an experienced rheumatologist. I would guess you have one or more of the autoimmune diseases. No one here can knowledgeably answer your question.

Lupus also causes a rash across the face..do you have that as well?
Lupus is difficult to diagnose and ususally has to be caught right when symptoms begin.
You're symptoms could be from a number of things. Don't worry until you know for sure what you are dealing with. If it is Lupus (or anything else) "Google" the condition and you will find many websites out there for almost any condition, disorder and disease out there. I have a blood disorder called Hereditary Hemochromatosis...if you are diagnosed with anything (such as Lupus) learn ALL you can...read everything you can get your hands on....the more informed you are...the better your treatment will be...
Take an active role in your health care...I did, my Dr said he was glad I did..and so am I.

There is no mention of the doctors' observation of the abnormality to the left side of the brain.

You are either born with lupus or have been on Medications that have Lupus type side effects. You don't just get lupus.

The nose bleeds, ulcers, seizures, forgetfulness and memory problems are not typical of lupus.

I would suggest you 'try' to sit back and relax. Drink lots of water. Try to eat healthy while you wait for the test results. The waiting is the worst of all.

I do not have a lupus diagnosis so far, but I do have a related disease and I do share most all of your symptoms. I have antiphospholipid syndrome and . Sadly, there is no blood test to prove Lupus, but the antiphospholipid antibodies often occur in Lupus patients. I am including a couple of links for you. Best wishes.

Hi there, many of the symptoms you describe can potentially be lupus related, unfortunately it could be anything else also, as symptoms run through many illnesses that appear to be something when there not!

However to be sure you need to get the RIGHT tests run in order to gather the diagnosis. A Rheumatologist is your best bet in regards to diagnosing Lupus, they know exactly what tests to run in order to find the prob. Many Drs do not run these precise tests and can therefore miss the diagnosis.

Its a game sadly of cat and mouse, elimination to find out what is over what isn't, it can be pot luck if you find the right Specialist who just hits the nail on the head or take months to years... ultimately do not give up, had I done so, I would not be here today. Eventually I was referred to a Rheumatologist and because of him, I am alive and much better, he is my angel! Be determined to get to the bottom of your health issue ASAP, it is vital to your healing, the sooner the better.

Best to not look to any one 'cause' or health issue until you know for sure what you are dealing with.
