Crying from just one eye?

If I get emotional (say when watching the news - I can be a little too empathetic/sensitive) I tend to have tears coming from just one eye. If something really monumental happens and I am bawling then tears come from both eyes. I'm just wondering if this is normal or some freakish abnormality?

It's neither normal or freakish, merely a slightly blocked tear-duct in one eye ! Saves you on tissues / lol

I know many people who tear from one eye; myself included. I've watched a few 'Without a Trace' episodes lately where the lead actor cried with tears from his left eye. It's not uncommon & nothing to worry about.

Crying from only one eye is not normal, because it's not the norm but it's not freakish either. Just original. If you also cry from the other eye sometimes, then there is nothing to worry about.
Some people sweat more from one armpit than the other...your body is not completely symmetrical. If you look at your face in the reflection of a mirror in a mirror (like other people see you, because what you see in your mirror is really the inverted image of yourself), you could be surprised.
