Has anyone out there had or do they know anyone who's had amnioifusion?

It's a revolutionary new medical procedure where in they inject fluid into the womb of a pregnant woman who's baby is not producing urine because of a kidney abnormality eg pkd

I work in labor and delivery, and we use amnioinfusion to replace fluid after the patient's water has been broken. It is used for several reasons, including decelerations in the baby's heart beat, or for meconium stained fluid.

I've never heard of this being done to replace amniotic fluid prior to imminent delivery.
