Is it related to?

鈥淚 have just returned to the UK from India after a very long stay and l started with a cough two weeks ago, the cough is persistent, also, with a fever and a loss of appetite. I had a chest X-ray two days ago and the results are as follows: 鈥淣ormal heart and mediastinal contours. There is an area of linear telecasts at the right base which may represent a previous area of consolidation with resolution. No focal active intrapulmonary abnormality seen鈥? Please could you tell me if it is possible that this diagnosis could be RELATED TO, or the BEGINING OF Military Tuberculosis? Thank you.

All it means is you have scarring at the base of your right lung. No big deal.
If you had TB, your chest x-ray would have detected pulmonary TB. Get a skin test if you are really worried; it will tell you if you've been exposed to TB.

Probably not, it may have alot to do with your stress level associated with your travels. Keep your soctor updates with any changes in your status and do visit a pulmonary medicine specialist (pulmonologist)-they are more updated in the tests and treatments of the latest lung concerns.
Take care, I hope you feel better soon!
