I just got my blood test report back and I have the following abnormalities ...?

1) Urate is slightly low
2) Hematology RBC Indicies :MCH is slightly high
3) WBC is slightly low

Since these specs are only *slightly* off, my Doctor is not concerned (thus he didn't waste time explaining anything to me).

Can anyone explain any of these terms to me ?

I don;t understand what you mean by your doc didn't waste time explaining anything to me. Your doc should have explained it to you and when he didn't it was YOUR responsibility to speak up loud and clear and ASK him what all of this meant. If your doc doesn't have time to even tell you what minor things are I would be worried that maybe he isn't doing such a good job.

Slightly low or high on a blood test is really not indicative of anything. Doctors usually look for very low or very high levels, or dramatic changes from your last blood work. I have included a link below which will help you understand your blood test. The next time, speak up and ask what it means. Don't forget, the doctor is working for YOU.

Hope this helps.
