My period has never been just a regular deal, but this time I am a little worried. I have very very little flow to start with, and it's a weird combination of grey and brown color, also, I'm discharging clots that are of the same color, and seemingly "dried up". I can't really afford to see a doctor, I don't have insurance, is there something seariously wrong with? If you are clotting excessively and the clots are a strange color -- you should see your doctor. If you would mention your age it would help. But this would sound very normal for someone approaching menopause, the flows gets smaller and smaller, spotting. The brown color is un-oxygenated blood - older, than say, red which is more oxygenated. If you're 35 or older, I would say this is possible, but younger is another matter. If younger, you need to see an Gynecologist. If you don't have insurance, find a medical clinic in your area that will accept small fees. You probably had heavy period before so it become lighter this time around..if it happen again, i suggest you go to the clinic and explain your situation.I am sure they'll help you. It could be PCOS but just check it out .... |
