Weird breathing abnormalities. Should I worry?

Okay I'll be completely honest here...

I was uhh.. "Jacking off" last night, but before I got to the peak point, I felt I was taking in deeper breaths than normal. So I stopped. I felt like I was having lack of oxygen until I went to bed. I woke up the next morning, everything was fine, then I started wondering about how my breathing was again, whether I was still getting enough oxygen to my lungs, I started taking in deep breaths again, and now the same thing is happening..

I think I just might be hyperventilating. I don't have any chest pain of numbness or anything. I think it's just happening because I'm worrying about it too much.

Sounds like you are hyperventilating. Breathing is one of those strange things where the more you think about it the more likely it is to seem "wrong" or out of whack. Try and distract yourself from focusing on your breathing or do something like go for a run that takes the speed/depth of breathing out of your hands.

Don't worry about deep breathing before orgasm, its pretty normal and most people do it (or all the people I have had sex with and I do too).
