Upper Abdominal Pain, Nausea, and Heartburn......Anyone know what this is?

For the past month or so i've been having abdominal pain, nausea, and hurtburn off and on. I don't know where this is all coming from. I am sexually active and I have regular periods, but I went to my doctor to take a pregnancy test just to make sure and the test results were negative. (Thank God!!) However, I do not know the cause of what is happening. Anyone have any info?

sounds like it could be your gallbladder. Sometimes the symptoms of a gallbladder attack can be subtle, such as nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, pain in your right arm, pain in your back, etc...
Have an ultrasound or a CT done to see if maybe you have gallstones or an inflammed gallbladder. Try to avoid fatty foods, alcohol, and large meals. See if that helps.

I would get an ultrasound to see if its your gallbladder. Similiar symptoms to what I was experiencing when I found I had gallstones. Does it seem to get worse after eating certain foods?

It sounds a lot like acid reflux but I recommend seeing a doctor to find out for sure. It could be caused by stress/anxiety, poor diet, or an imbalance of bacteria or yeast in your system. Have you taken antibiotics in the past year? If so, it might help to take a natural probiotic supplement to repopulate your system with friendly bacteria so your digestive system returns to normal.

If the pain is that severe, go to the hospital. It sounds like it might be IUD related, but it could be something else. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, appendicitis, etc. At least call your doctor ...
