Can a Rt hemmorhagic ovarian cyst cause left abdominal pain? |
My wife has a 3-4 cm Rt ovarian hemmorhagic cyst she currently has some Rt pain issues but was recently in the emergency room with elevated white count and in addition to the hemmorhagic cyst she had left abdominal pain Yes, I just had my left ovary removed but I had right abdominal pain. It doesn't make sense to me either but I know that it happens. I have had several cyst over the course of 15 years and the pain has always been on the reverse side of the cyst. A cyst is a fluid-filled sac. In most cases a cyst on the ovary does no harm and goes away by itself. Most women have them sometime during their lives. Cysts are rarely cancerous in women under 50. Cysts sometimes hurt - but not always. Often, a woman finds out about a cyst when she has a pelvic exam. |
