Extreme Abdominal Pain?

So I keep getting this very painful pain in my abdomen. It is just the lower are above th pelvis. When I get it it hurts so bad that I have cried from it. I can't walk or breath, because doing so causes to much pain. Even sitting the wrong way hurt, but, ever since the first night it hasn't hurt that much. I noticed pain coming in school and it just worries me cuz, I don't want it to effect my school life; nor do I just want to start crying in the middle of class. I am 14 and I am in relatively good health, and I am female... these aren't cramps unless if they started 2 weeks before my period and through my period.I have also noticed blood in my stool, but that's been for the past... 2-3 years... So what do you think causes the pain, can I get rid of it, I'm up for any suggestions here! (I am not pregnant lol)

I can't afford the doctor's if it isn't something serious.

Bri, i am speaking from experience. Any time there is blood present as well as severe abdominal pain, you need to have your folks get you to a GI to rule out things like upper gi bleed, Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, or an ulcer.

I had blood and severe pain so my mom took me to the MD who referred me to the GI at the age of 12. I was put through many tests to finally get a diagnosis to treat my illness.

If this has been going on for years (the bleeding), you really need to have your folks take you in to be checked. If money is a problem, most doctors will allow your parents to fill out a form and based upon income, they will either have to pay 1/2, 1/4, or none of the bills. The hospital has uncompensated care forms that are similar but if the W2 earnings are under a certain $ amt. the treatment can be for free.

Seriously, GO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. You don't want it to turn into cancer or something serious like it.

You should go to the doctors immediately!

Tell your parents and go to your hospital as soon as possible.

If possible, talk to your parents. If that's not possible, talk to the school nurse or counselor. It sounds like you are having some pretty serious pain. Even if it is related to your period, there may be a way to lessen the severity of the pain. I'm so sorry for you. Good luck and God Bless.

Well, anytime you have blood in the stool that is a clue that something is wrong. You should see a doctor. It could be any number of things, from a cyst to not enough fiber and yes not getting enough fiber in your system can cause that kind of pain. Your best bet is a doctor visit, don't wait till you end up in the emergency room.

Talk to Mom or Dad and then GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!

Don't let the lack of money keep you from medical care. You are a child and your parents will deal with the money problems.
