At three months of pregnancy does one start to experience lower back cramps and abdominal pain?

My wife began to experience these symptoms the very day that she found out, a mere 2 weeks along. It was so bad she couldn't do dishes or clean the house. You have 6 months left. Enjoy it ;)

Yes, it is completely normal. All of your muscles and ligaments, skin, uterus, etc., are stretching to make room for your growing baby. This is probably the most stress your body will ever undergo.

As for me I had all day sickness until I was 13 weeks along, and then after that was the tiredness, and the achiness. It really was so bad at times that I couldn't do the dishes, laundry, etc. Either I didn't have the energy to, or I was just too achy.

I am glad to have had a husband who wasn't afraid to help with everything. He was wonderful, even though it was very stressful for him at times. I think sometimes men think pregnant women use it as an excuse to get out of daily chores, etc. That is far from the case. Oh, if they could only experience pregnancy just once!
