Frequent indegestion especially after eating?

Always suffered from ocassional bouts of indegestion but just recently been getting it much more frequent, the pain in my chest & under my right rib & spreads to the middle centre abdominal! Im only 24 could this be gallstones? :(

You should definetly talk to your primary care physician. These symptoms may be secondary to a hiatal hernia. It sounds like it's gastroesophageal reflux (which can also happen with hiatal hernias). Consider talking to your physician about a month's use of prilosec or pepcid. Some things that can make it worse are alcohol and caffeine. Hope this helps =)

Regardless of what it is you need to get this checked out as left untreated GERD can cause esophogeal erosion. See your doc for a definate diagnosis and get treated.

Not sure about the gallstones but I've had similar troubles and it turned out to be lactose intolerance. It might be good to go see a doctor regarding the problem but in the mean time it would be a good idea to write down exaclty what you eat and see if there's something that's in the meal everytime you get the indigestion. In that case it could be a mild food allergy.

This sounds like Acid Reflux. You have to go to the r. for them to prescribe you some meds. there may come a time when you feel like you have to vomit, This comes from the acids in the foods that you eat. There are some over the counter meds. that you can purchase like pepcid, or maybe some mylanta until you get to the Dr. Don't wait because it can get worse. I have the same problem. Good luck.

The simple fact of the matter is that most digestive problems are directly caused by incomplete digestion of the food we eat.You may be amazed at how quickly you can solve digestion problems by simply taking a natural digestive supplement with your meals.Check out a natural supplement called PhytoBioForte at www.dna911.info It is the most potent plant based digestive enzyme product available.
