Acute stoop caused by Parkinson's disease - how to improve? |
how can someone who is bent over - nearly double - straighten up? the PD causes the abdominal muscles to be so strong and the back muscles to be weak so one is pulled over. Botox injections into the abdominal muscles did not seem to do much, neither has the physiotherapy exercises. l have not seen any other PD sufferer with this condition. Any serious suggestions welcome - no jokes please - we enjoy a laugh, but pain making sense of humour a bit thin....... My father had Parkinson's disease and was almost doubled over. So I know what you're talking about. |
