Did I have an ovarian cyst rupture?

I stopped using birth control for about a year due to mood swings, and hot flashes. I couldn't tolerate the hormones.

Currently I just started taking birth control again and I have a family history of ovarian cysts.

In the past I had an abdominal/pelvic Cat Scan and it showed a cyst on my ovary. Prior to that, I have been to the doctor with complaints of pain during sexual intercourse numerous times.

I am due for my period in 4-5 days and I was doubled over in extremely bad pain last night. I still have the rest of my birth control pills in the pack as well.

Last night I passed an extremely large blood clot and have been bleeding since. It is too early for my period? Especially since I am still suppposed to be taking the pills. (I am never early as a matter of fact)

Anyone have any advice or experience anything like this???

i had an ovarian cyst that caused me to double over in pain only it the pain never got lessened and i had to go to thr er and the dr removed the cyst-so maybe since your pain subsided and then you passed clots it did burst-and thats why your pain didnt continue as mine-but by no means would i know if this is even posibe it is just a guess on my part from what i wen thru and what happened with you-so you should see a dr-if you can good luck--oh by the way my dr did say sometimes they dissolve on there own and you pass them so maybe>?!!
