Anyone that had or understand enough about laparoscopy surgery? |
i had a laparoscopy done last thursday for my appendix, and the doctors also removed some tissue that was stuck to my intestine and to my lower abdominal, so its bn a week after the surgery and im still in a lot of pain, my back hurts a lot, and my right rib feels like its broken or something, and the doctors told me to drink naproxen which is making my stomach feel that burning sensation, so my question is...i wanna know if anyone that had a laparoscopy done felt the same way that im feeling???PLZZZZ ANY comments will be appreciated! thanks yes I had my gall bladder removed laparascopically. They blew my abdomen up, and I had air stuck under my ribs, and in my back and hurt for several days too. Naproxen burned my stomach too if I took more than one. I think what you are feeling may be normal. Chew 3 or 4 Tums for the stomach burning, it helps. And a hot bath or heating pad may ease the stomach or back pain. your abdomen is inflated with carbon dioxide during laporoscopy and that is the reason that you may have rib pain and shoulder pain in following week after surgery..non steroid analgesics such as naproxen or other analgesics such as metamizol will help for the pain relieve..if your stomach is sensitive against naproxen you may try metamizol..(by asking your own doctor of course) |
