Cost of an MRI? |
My doctor has ordered an MRI for my pelvic/abdominal region. Has anyone here had that type of MRI done, and how much did it cost? I don't have insurance and can't really afford it, but I am having some unidentified pain and they want to check it out. I live in NC, as prices must vary from state to state. Thanks for any answers you can give. You really need to call around to different facilities in your area. Prices will vary greatly. If you call a hospital, ask for both the price of the MRI and the price of the radiologist's reading, as there are two separate costs for these services. I work in a free standing imaging facility and we are about 25% less expensive than the hospital in our town. Also, find out if they give a cash discount for private paying/non insured patients. We will give a 10% discount in those cases. |

It sounds to be normal. What I would suggest if you think the showering is not helping is covering it in waterproof bandages when showing so it doesn't get wet and cleaning it with peroxide on... Does not sound like a muscle issue. My guess would be a pinched/trapped nerve. I have issues with the sciatic nerve and when I pinch the nerve it takes 1-2 weeks of rest with an anti-inflammato... Something like a hernia or gullbladder isn't life threatening, however without knowing what it is do yo... The key word in that list of side effects is MAY. That doesn't mean you'll experience any of them. But, try getting back on a schedule of a regular sleep pattern by: 1. Going to bed... Yes, I've had cramping throughout my entire cycle before as well as bloating. In my case it turned out to be related to endometriosis. Pls get in touch with your dr to have this evaluated ... Personally I would go for the graft to be redone, but its very much a personal decision and no one can make it for you. ... |
