I felll on an "industrial' sized (27 inch) fan......? |
...woke up 8 hours later and it was very difficult to move from a prone(on my back) position to sitting upright. Its now been 48 hours . The pain is on my right side ,above my hip,and about 4 inches below my armpit and radiates about 3-4 inches into my thoracic/abdominal(?) area. It hurts, but i don't want to go the hospital. what should I do? Does anybody think it could possibly be getting worse???? For all you know, you could be suffering a massive internal hematoma (burst vessel) If you don't want to go to the hospital, you should at least visit a doctor as soon as possible. Even if it only turns out to be a really bad bruise instead of something as serious as internal bleeding, you'd at least have peace of mind. I'd still advise going to the hospital, though. Even if you are only bruised the pain will get worse. That is a bad place to get hit or hit hard by falling on something. If you do not go to the Dr you could be asking for a lot of trouble down the road. You do not have to go to the hospital but you should go to the doctor. |
