C reative protein elevated?

I am still light headed everyday. I feel bouts of fatigue throughout the day, chills, tingleys all over, chest pain, shortness of breath, constipation, and circulation problems that involve my fingertip swelling occasionally and my hand and feet turn purple or sometimes reddish. Some times they are really cold other times they become very hot. I have had numerous tests. A MRI of the head. An abdominal Cat scan. An EKG on my heart not to mention several blood tests. The only thing that has come up is my bilirubin has elevated to 2.7, LIver enzymes are perfect they say. I have had a hepatitis profile done and everything is normal, I am even still immune to Hep B. My doctor seems to think my symptoms have become asymptomatic and that my anxiety is coming out in different ways. Has anyone else felt like this? Today i got the results back from my C Reative Protein test and it was elevated. So now I have to be sent to a blood specialist? What does this mean? What could be wrong?

Higher-than-normal levels of CRP may indicate inflammation or a bacterial infection, such as rheumatic fever. CRP levels do not always change with a viral infection. However, a CRP test cannot indicate where the inflammation is located or what is causing it. Other tests are needed to determine the cause and location of the inflammation. You should probably just wait until you see the specialist. Also an elevated CRP could indicate heart disease and sometimes it is elevated when you have colon cancer. There are so many things it could mean and I hope you find out what is causing it to be elevated. Good luck.

C-reactive protein is non specific test elevated in collagen diseases such a rheumatoid arthritis and polyarteritis nodosa etc. Some of your symptoms suggest Buerger's disease usuall associated with a collagen disease. Why a blood specialist?
