Recovery time after inguinal hernia repair??? |
I had a right inguinal hernia repair a year ago. I'm still having pains in random spots around the surgical area and different spots around my waist. I got stitches and mesh. I'm in the military and was only allowed 2 weeks of con leave when I was told I would need at least a month. I feel like the repair was undone when I went back to work. I felt something pop in the general area. How long should it take before you go back to a daily working routine after an abdominal surgery like this? Is it possible that I could have squeezed through my stitches but not busted trough my mesh? Yes Hernia can happen again. |
