Question about bleeding internally when one has internal bleeding from lacerated spleen/liver from car wreck,?

when does the blood which filled the abdominal cavity and apparently has now clotted get reabsorbed.

They said it irritates the abdominal area this blood that is not supposed to be there.

I went into shock 9 days after wreck when it was found to be bleeding and lacerated inside. It has been 5 weeks since the wreck and about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks since the bleeding was found.

An ER doctor (rushed and rude and uninterested) told me it would not be causing my stomach pains that are in several areas...around the breastbone and top of abdomen, in the area just above the navel and in the low area just above groin..this stomach ache type feelings has bothered me nearly the whole time since the wreck..I never had stomach problems before in my life.

Then a trauma nurse practitioner at the followup appointment at the hospital trauma clinic said this clotted blood will continue to irritate for another 2 months,.

who is right..will this remaining clotted blood still irritate my abdominal cavity

2 more months or is it already no longer as problem. I am trying to figure out if this is the reason for my stomach pain and if it will go away..I was hit by the front air bag deploying and at 50-55 mph impact on driver's side. I was closer than 10 inches from steering wheel I think.'

How long does it take this clotted blood to be reabsorbed by the body and stop irritating the abdominal cavity

although I am not sure of the answer, I would tend to side with the nurse practitioner at the trauma hospital unit as one who deals with this more than a rushed er doctor..maybe get an appointment with a gastrologist to see how well the digestive tract is working and then if no change after the two months, seek out a specialist.

Time tends to heal a lot of things in the human body especially if we help it with calm thoughts, healthy food and herbs, exercise, fresh air, sunlight, sleep, rest, and hot cold showers and compresses in order to enhance healing.
